Organic Bath Co.

Organic Bath Co. is one of my new favorite companies and they are also from Boston! I love these products because they are so simple and fresh. Everything is gluten free, vegan and 100% Organic. I’ve been making my own oils, scrub and lotions at home but they just get the exact mixtures correct and perfectly balanced. I’ve been using the SubLime Organic Body Scrub which is absolutely divine, the perfect mix of coconut and lime. Salt water, sea air and the right amount of summer sun in a little jar. I also love the RefreshMint Organic Body Oil, it gives your skin instant moisture; replenishing and revitalizing dry skin. I’ve been using this oil after showering from a day at the beach, my skin soaks up the oil and feels healed and represhed. The oil is softly scented, the mint is very subtle, I tend to not like mint scented body products but this is a perfect balance and I love it, very fresh. It contains Jojoba Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Almond Oil, Camellia Seed, Grape Seed Oils and Green Tea Leaves – filled with antioxidants! For this product, click HERE.

Sun worshippers beware

Why do we use sunscreen? To protect our skin from the sun’s rays so we don’t get burnt and don’t develop skin cancer. But what is scary is that most of the products on the market are full of carcinogens and toxins that can cause cancer! Octinoxate is linked to breast cancer, that’s just one of the harmful chemicals in this product. Coppertone scores a DIRTY 10 on the Think Dirty list, and this is a baby formula. Scary that this product has been used on children for years!

Instead of Coppertone (or any sunscreen that you buy at the pharmacy) try Coola! Coola is my favorite organic and natural sunscreen. The formulas are light and don’t make me breakout, they smell great too! They rate from a 0 to 3 on the Dirty List, score!

Women Put an Average of 168 Chemicals on their Bodies Each Day

From an ABCNews report: “According to the Environmental Working Group, women use an average of 12 products a day, containing 168 different chemicals. Men use fewer products, but still put 85 chemicals on their bodies. Teens on average use 17 personal care products a day, according to the group, which tested 20 teens’ blood and urine seven years ago to find out which chemicals from these products were ending up in their bodies. They said they found 16 hormone-altering chemicals, including parabens and phthalates. ”

168 HARMFUL, TOXIC and CANCER CAUSING chemicals – SO SCARY! Even the Sunscreen that we use to protect us from skin cancer… are full of cancer causing chemicals! How dare they. We as the consumers must take a stand and stop using these harmful products on ourselves and babies! Thankfully there are so many new amazing natural and organic products on the market.

Tropical bliss. 1

Paradise arrived on my doorstep today! Mahana Organic Perfume Oil by Leah Lani Skincare @leahlaniskincare. Thank you for putting Hawaii in a bottle and sending it over the Pacific Ocean to me. This is everything I love in a perfume…coconuts, vanilla, ocean waves, sand in between my toes, salty hair and sunshine on my face…tropical bliss. I just published my blog TODAY (yay!) so it’s still in its early stages but one of my first reviews will be of all the other goodies I received from @leahlaniskincare. I know they are already new staples in my beauty routine. Aloha lovelies! 🌺💕🌊☀️🐚🐬💕🌺
